ಮುಂಚಿನ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಮೊರ ಎಲ್ಲರ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲೂ ದಿನನಿತ್ಯದ  ಬಳಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿತ್ತು.  ಈಗೀಗ ಗೌರಿ ಹಬ್ಬದ ಆಸುಪಾಸಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾತ್ರಾ ಮಾರುಕಟ್ಟೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇದರ ಮಿಂಚು 

In Kannada we call this 'Mora'.  In English I found the equivalent word as Winnowing Basket.  In earlier days these were in use at each and every houses. Although, not in use in routines, these are traditionally being used  during Gauri Festival.
