ತಾಳು ಮನವೆ
ಅಡವಿಯೊಳಗಾಡುವ ಮೃಗಪಕ್ಷಿಗಳಿಗೆಲ್ಲ
ಅಡಿಗಡಿಗಡಿಗೆ ಆಹಾರವಿತ್ತವರು ಯಾರೊ
ಹಡೆದ ಜನನಿಯ ತೆರದಿ ಸ್ವಾಮಿ ಹೊಣೆಗೀಡಾಗಿ
ಬಿಡದೆ ರಕ್ಷಿಪನಿದಕೆ ಸಂದೇಹ ಬೇಡ
ತಲ್ಲಣಿಸದಿರು ಕಂಡ್ಯ ತಾಳು, ತಾಳು ಮನವೇ

For all those animals and birds in forests,
who kept food well within their reach;
just like a mother who gave birth to us,
sure Lord is protecting us day and night;
