1996ರ ವರ್ಷದಲ್ಲಿ ನಾವು ಹೊರತಂದ ಈ ಸಂಚಿಕೆ ನನ್ನ ಬದುಕಿನ ಅವಿಸ್ಮರಣೀಯ ನೆನಪುಗಳಲ್ಲೊಂದು. ಎಚ್ ಎಮ್ ಟಿ ಯನ್ನು ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠತೆಯ ಉತ್ತುಂಗಕ್ಕೆ ಏರಿಸಿದ ಡಾ. ಎಸ್. ಎಮ್. ಪಾಟೀಲ್ ಅವರಿಂದ ಮೊದಲ್ಗೊಂಡು ನಮ್ಮ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ 26 ಪ್ರತಿಭಾವಂತ ಮಹನೀಯರನ್ನು ಆತ್ಮೀಯರಾದ  ಸುಧೀಂದ್ರ ಗಾರ್ಗೆಶ ಅವರೊಡಗೂಡಿ ಸಂದರ್ಶಿಸಿ ಲೇಖನಗಳನ್ನು ಸಿದ್ಧಪಡಿಸುವಾಗ ಬದುಕಿನ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ನಾನು ಕಲಿತ ಪಾಠ ಅತ್ಯಮೂಲ್ಯವಾದದ್ದು.

The Souvenir published by us during the year 1996,  imprinted lasting memories in me. In  making articles for this me and Sudhindra Gargesa have interviewed 26 talented personalities in our organisation which included Dr S. M Patil who took HMT to greatest heights in the industrial map of the country. The values I earned in this process was invaluable.
